Fire meets water with the Pacific Rim.

Inspired by eddies and tidal pools that you often see on the shoreline off the west coast of Canada, the Pacific Rim is a departure from the Hemi 36 – the fire bowll that launched Solus into the fire pit business over 13 years ago. The Pacific Rim is the first combination of both fire and water.

The signature Solus cross-jet flame burner is surrounded by a gently circulating flow of water that has been purposefully disturbed to create a slight sense of a west coast eddies. During the day the water can be operated as a stand-alone water feature which provides a gentle light flowing sound and visual appeal without the fire. This water feature is controlled by a remote that can be switched n and off with ease. At night the fire and water together provide a spectacular combination that is unique to the Solus line.

Product Details

We also have full UKCA and CE certification as EN 509:2000 – Decorative Fuel Effects Gas Appliances and EN 60335-1:2001 Household and Similar Electrical Appliances. Our natural gas fire pits are also certified as ‘Outdoor Decorative Gas Appliances’ to Canadian CSA 2.41-2014 and American ANSI Z21.97-2014 standards.

Each of our fire pits comes with a warranty on workmanship and performance Warranties are extended with the purchase and use of one of our All-Weather covers.

Each burner is assembled and tested in our facility from non-corrosive brass, stainless steel, aluminium and thermoplast components.

Propane fire pits are certified to UKCA, CE and ANSI standards. All propane burners are assembled in the USA from brass components and are individually tested to meet specific certification requirements.

Ethanol burners have been designed specifically for Solus, are constructed from 3 layers of stainless steel, and meet the highest quality standards.

Each of our fire pits are handcast from high performance, fibre-reinforced concrete which has been tested to ASTM standards.

All concrete pieces are sealed with a penetrating sealer to minimise weathering. Table surfaces are treated with an extra protective coating to protect from prolonged exposure to food and drink spills.
